Additionally her play, <em>THE LETTER, <\/em>was shortlisted in the final rounds of \u00a0judging for the prestigious Sir Kenneth Branagh Award for New Drama Writing. The content of that play served as catalyst for developing the material into a deeper dramatic work: MRS NEWTON&#8217;S COTTAGE, a legacy piece inspired by her own family legacy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cheri&#8217;s writing draws on a diverse background spanning journalism, international relations, and screenwriting, including 15 years living and working in the UK.
